The other day I was talking with a friend about mountain biking.

We’re both fairly new to the sport, and completely inexperienced when it came to knowing what to do, where to go and how to do it.

Case in point, we needed a guide.

Someone who could show us the ropes about biking, and give us some pointers to help us turn the hobby into something we could be enthusiastic about.

So we enlisted the help of a good friend (someone who actually mountain bikes some of the best trails every weekend), and he pointed us to a guide he wrote for a mountain biking enthusiast website.

The guide was pretty epic, and included all sorts of information about gear, common repairs, the best trails in each state, technique and more.

So when it comes to the life of a Veteran, what sort of resources are out there for you?

There are a handful of news websites geared towards military personnel and Veterans, and forums for discussing current events and politics.

Not much else.

Well, I decided to create my own, and post it here for you to use and share.
